One morning I heard a story on the radio 

of a woman who was out Christmas shopping with her 2 children. 

… After many hours of looking at row after row of toys and everything else imaginable and hearing both her children asking for everything they saw on those many shelves, she finally made it to the elevator with her 2 kids.

She was feeling what so many of us feel during the holiday season time of the year. 

Overwhelming pressure to:

go to every party,

every housewarming, 

taste all the holiday food and treats,

getting that perfect gift for every single person on our shopping list, 

making sure we don’t forget anyone on our card list, and 

the pressure of making sure we respond to everyone who sent us a card. 

Finally, the elevator doors opened to an already-crowded car. 

She pushed her way into the car and dragged her 2 kids in with her and all the bags of stuff. 

When the doors closed, she couldn’t take it anymore and stated, 

“Whoever started this whole Christmas thing 

should be found, strung up, and shot.” 

From the back of the car everyone heard a quiet calm voice respond, 

“Don’t worry - we already crucified him.” 

For the rest of the trip down the elevator,

it was so quiet you could have heard a pin drop. 

Don’t forget this year to keep 

“the One who started this whole Christmas thing” 

in your every thought, deed, purchase, and word. 

The Gold Wrapping Paper (True Story – This Will Make You Cry)

Dear friends, As we entered Christmas season today, In this season of love, may we all remember the true Story and beautiful love of a small child, This Will Make You Cry. I wish you all a meaningful and love-filled season and new year ahead. May your days be filled with love, joy, growth, and with blessings of Almighty. Once upon a ti…me, a man punished his five-year-old daughter for using up the family’s only roll of expensive gold wrapping paper before Christmas. Money was tight, so he became even more upset when on Christmas Eve; he saw that the child had used the expensive gold paper to decorate a large shoebox she had put under the Christmas tree. Nevertheless, the next morning the little girl, filled with excitement, brought the gift box to her father and said, “This is for you, Daddy!” As he opened the box, the father was embarrassed by his earlier overreaction, now regretting how he had punished her.

But when he opened the shoebox, he found it was empty and again his anger flared. “Don’t you know, young lady,” he said harshly, “when you give someone a present there’s supposed to be something inside the package!” The little girl looked up at him with sad tears rolling from her eyes and whispered: “Daddy, it’s not empty. I blew kisses into it until it was all full.” The father was crushed. He fell on his knees and put his arms around his precious little girl. He begged her to forgive him for his unnecessary anger. An accident took the life of the child only a short time later. It is told that the father kept this little gold box by his bed for all the years of his life. Whenever he was discouraged or faced difficult problems, he would open the box, take out an imaginary kiss, and remember the love of this beautiful child who had put it there.

In a very real sense, each of us as human beings have been given an invisible golden box filled with unconditional love and kisses from our children, family, friends and God. There is no more precious possession anyone could hold. xoxo

Wow is it really the last day of November, this month sure went by fast...with alot to be Thankful for, my friends. For me I has been my dad getting a job after a year of unemployment, my wonderful family and friends!

Today i am thankful for all the blessing, that come in all shapes and sizes! :)

24 years ago my parents brought into this world, a wonderful friend and sister!

I'm so glad she is my sister and my best friend...God gave my wonderful parents a gift 24 years ago in her. A gift of a sister to me as well, since my birthday is a week after my sister's birthday! ;)

My sister is special in so many ways!! I thank God everyday for her! Happy Birthday Rachel! xoxo

My Dear Child.♥ Part 1

Dear _[Insert name]__

I wanted you to know how much I love you my dear child. I thought of you before I even created you. I knew who you would be in life. I knew what you would accomplish.. I knew all the mistakes that you would make.. But none of that changed the love I have for you.

The day that I died on the cross.. I was thinking about you. As I was going through all the pain.. All I could think about was you.. And that we would get to be together for eternity.

I was right there smiling at you the day that you were born.. It was a priceless moment for me. One that I will cherish forever. The day that you came into the world. Seeing your smiling face got me excited for the journey that was to come for you. I knew everything that you would face. Good and bad.. Easy and hard.. I was completely ready to be there with you..

As you grew older.. I was right there with you.. I was there with every little adventure you had.. With all the trails that you went through.. I was there when you started school.. As you began to learn..

I was with you when you were teased, scared, happy, shy.. I was there the whole time.. Even though you couldn’t see me.. I was right there holding your hand.

I was with you when you were going through hard times in your life.. I never left you for one second. I was there holding my hand out to you.. Reaching to catch you and help.. I know that sometimes you don’t understand why you’re going through something that’s hard.. But know it’s to make you stronger. To bring you closer to me.

My Dear Child.♥ Part 2

I love you so much. I have always been proud of you. I have laughed when you laughed, smiled when you smiled, cried when you cried.. I was always there for you. And will always be there for you until the day that you come to be with me.

So even though you can’t see me.. Know that I am there and have never left.. Not for one minute. I have always been there and will always be there.

I still love you when you mess up.. I don’t turn my back on you. I stand by you. Knowing that you will learn from the mistakes that you make. Don’t ever think that I stop loving you. Don’t believe others when they say that I have stopped.. I will never stop loving you. I am going to be there for you every step of the way..

Know that I think of you always.. As I see you becoming the person that I created you to be.. Makes me feel so wonderful.. So happy.. I know that not everyday will be easy for you.. But I want you to remember that you can get through them.. I’m right there holding your hand. And I will not let go.

There are so many things in this world that people love and would do anything for.. But know that all of that stuff is nothing to me. You are my world.. It is you that I pour my life into. I pour my love, peace, patience, and kindness.. You are the one thing that I treasure most. I will never give you up..

If you are to fall, stumble, or turn away from me.. I will chase after you because I love you. I will never stop pursuing you. Even when you feel like I want anything to do with you.. your wrong.. because I want everything to do with you.. I want to be a part of your life as you are a part of mine.

Believe me when I say that I have forgiven all that you have done.

My kingdom is made for you. I believe in you when no one else does. The Love I have for you is unbreakable and undeniable.

I know all there is to know about you… And I love every part of you.. So stay close to me as I have stayed close to you. Let me heal you.. Let me love you.. My wonderful child. How precious you are to me.

Bailey Flanigan Series by Karen Kingsbury

As I sit here and wait for Nov 22 to be here, my heart and thoughts go out to Bailey Flanigan/Kelsey Kingsbury.

I see myself in you in so many ways, a true rolemodel for me and I want to thank you and Karen Kingsbury for writing these books. That God put into your heart to write for your reader friend. They truly are a blessing. :) Thank You Jesus, for putting these wonderful books in Karen Kingsbury heart, not just the Bailey Flanigan Series and the Baxter Series but all her books. They truly are all amazing reads.

But anyways...I wanted to write this short note to Bailey/Kelsey!

Dear Kelsey,

I just wanted to Thank you, for being the inspiration for your mother's book..The Bailey Flanigan Series. Its my favorite along the all the books in the Baxter Series. Its my dream to meet you and your mother someday to give you both a hug and say Thank you for all you do.

Thank you for all do on the Bailey Flanigan FB page..I love how Karen also has Cody Coleman Page and Brandon Paul page..which are run by your truly Solomon Rexius and Kyle Kupecky...I hope! The encouragment you share always put a smile on my face when i see your post. I truly love having you as FB friend! Its a blessing!  <3

Bailey is such a rolemodel to so many, me included. I see myself in her in so many ways.

Thankful Day 7

I have to say...I'm also Thankful for my church family, they have truly blessed my family through the years. But especially this past year and half, when my father was unemployed they helped us out and prayed for us.

I want to Thank God, for bringing us to that church...which I grew up in! I was baptized and confirmed there! The people  there are so loving and kind. I love my church family.

There are a few things...I like to say I am thankful for today. The roof over my head, (my home). I'm also thankful for this day!

First my home...some people don't have a place to live! :( Which is sad...lets pray for them this holiday season, that they find a homeless shelter, or find a job so they can rent a home or buy one.

And for today...God has blessed me with another day of life..

Thankful Day 5

I'm also Thankful for the men and women, who serve in our armed forces here and aboard (army, navy, air force, coast guard) And the First Responders, Police and Firemen!

They derserved to be remembered for all they do...

And while we are talking about being Thankful for these men and women, I have to mention that my cousin is on of them...he serves in The US Navy, he truly is my hero.  I also want to salute my grandpa, dad and uncle who were in the coast guard, and my uncle was in the navy also! I love you all!

I love sharing Bible verses..so here is my first one!

Thank Day 4

I'm also Thankul for God's Word! The bible is so amazing, everytime I pick it up the bible to read, I learn something new. Its like a Love Letter from God!

Here are 2 bible verses that I love:

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give hope and a future." Jer 29:11

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Phil 4:13

It helps me through hard times, and it has wonderful stories of our Lord Jesus and of those people who choose to follow him. Its just a Good Book!

Thankful Day 3

Another thing I am thankful for is my friends, God has given me through the years. Their love for me..is truly cherished. When I ask  for prayers, they pray. Or when I need to talk, they listen.

God put these friends in my life for  reason, maybe to help them come to know him. And I hope they see him through me. I learn they thing from all my friends too.

So cherish the friends God has given you...

Thankful Day 1 and 2

A friend gave me this GREAT IDEA!

Since November is the month of  Thanksgiving, I will be blogging about what I am Thankful for all month! I hope you enjoy my Thankful Blogs this month. I am a day late, so I will be doing November 1 in this blog as well.

Thankful Day 1: I am thankful for Jesus Christ! He died for you and I! He created this wonderful world we live in, and he has big plans for us all!

Thankful Day 2: My family, my dad, my mom, my sister, and my brother...I love them so dearly and Thank God for them everyday.  But most of all, I'm thankful my dad has found a job after 21 months of unemployment, he started yesterday and is happy to have a job again. He says for those who are out of jobs right now, "Have Faith and never give up on looking for a job!" He has taught me to never give up! My mom has taught me the same! My sister and brother are my best friends, they love and care for me! Be Thankful for the family that love you!
